Shabby Chic

One of the upcoming trends for the new season is that of shabby chic – something a bit worn, possibly tired or distressed, but still remaining ultra trendy.  Here’s our top 3 tips on how to achieve the look;

1)      It’s all about the colour! A classic for the shabby chic look is white, but of course not a brilliant white like you’ve just bought it, but an off-white with a slight grey tinge.  White is great to mix and match with other classic shabby chic colours such as camel and black.

 2)      Go big on accessories!  The shabby-chic look is topped off but large, large, LARGE accessories.  Think big chunky statement bracelets or bangles for your arms, giant sunglasses for your head.  If you wear glasses then don’t make them subtle big get think, black rimmed specs for the ultimate look.
